Hey Roger. Wow, I ordered it for my Kindle and can't put the darn thing down! You are about 10 years older than I ( I was like your old high school friend Peter & brought up Pentecostal & a Literalist), but our experiences have a lot in common---and it is people like you helping me to come back. So glad you're all out there to share a different and more timeless form of progressive Christianity.

Roger, I'm passionate about helping Christians stuck in old dualistic and exclusivistic paradigms centered on a heaven and hell framework embrace more a more inclusive, progressive, and compassionate faith. I have applied for a Lilly Pastoral Study Grant to explore the topic: What Progressive Christians Believe and Practice. I have written two books on the subject (check them out at http://www.afreshperspective-chuck.blogspot.com. What's the best way to order your book--Amazon or directly from the publisher?

I stumbled upon this site, and now have invested an hour in reading portions of your book, and know that I need to order at least 2 copies of it. As a facebook follower of the 'Christian Left" I am a firm believer that what a lot people profess as being religious has nothing to do with being a follower of Christ, and if we all spent more time in having the ' fruit of the Spirit" we would have less strife in our lives. God Bless You

I finished your book and it was wonderful. I did not realize I was a progressive Christian and that anyone else felt the same. Has really inspired me to find a more "progressive" Church.
